Twitter Tools – Which Ones Do You Use?

There are many Twitter Tools available that help enhance the Twitter Experience. Some such Tweetdeck and Twirl are desktop clients that use the Adobe Air platform to better manage your Twitter contacts. Others such as Friend or Follow and My Tweeple access the Twitter API to tell you who you are following that is no following you. Others such as Grader seem to have no other purpose than to stroke your ego

One of the objectives of Tweeterblog.com is to keep up with the coolest newest twitter tools. This is where YOU come in! Which Twitter tools do YOU use? Please leave a comment and let us know. We will make an effort to research all the tools mentioned and post about them. If you want write an article about a specific tool let us know and we may feature you on Tweeter Blog!

I don’t personally use any of the desktop clients. I’m old school and simply log into Twitter.com I do use Friend or Follow and Grader sometimes though. So which Twitter tools do YOU use? Please leave a comment and let us know.

i use Twitter.com also. works fine. Twitterberry is a great app for the Blackberry. very nice. Friend or Follow and Grader are both highly recommended!

I use Tweetdeck and I love being able to organize by groups or ideas. I am also trying out Tweetlater for a nonprofit org project I’m working on, but that does not seem to work seamlessly. I will be trying Twhirl as well for the same project to compare to Tweetdeck.

I love tweetdeck!

Great idea put into action. I confess, I love twitter and conversing with strangers of like mind. As for keeping track, I use twitter.com because it works for me. I know tweets who use ping.fm to post everywhere, but I do not know when they read anything. The interaction is what makes a difference for me. I expect to start using Tweetdeck before too long to simply my microblogging.

I am loving ping.fm right now. I can use it to ping twitter and my other social networking sites at one time.

Hey Jack,

I don’t use any of the tools other than grader at the moment, but I am looking into them more and more to see if there are any that fit in with the way I work the net.

If I find one (or more) that does, I’ll comment back again. ;-)

Hey Jack,

I love TweetDeck. I can keep working and I get updates for new tweets or replies. Plus I like the cool black look of TweetDeck :) Makes me feel posh !

I use grader at times. I did not like ping.fm, I mean what is the point if you cant see what others are posting. The whole idea of twitter (IMO) is to “socialize”.

Thanks,
Amit

Jack … why do the smileys jump so high ?? :) ;) ???

Hi,

I use Twhirl on my desktop and TweetDeck on my laptop. Plus, I actively use Tweetlater.com and EasyTweets.com for scheduling my posts.

Best Wishes,

Hey thanks for the post, I use tweetdeck, but most of my twitter interaction is with the firefox plugin twitkit. I also just blogged about twitter tools today. http://blogtrainingacademy.com/17-twitterific-twitter-tools-part-1/twitter.html.
